American Airlines further expand their presence in New York by launching daily nonstop flights between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and five new destinations.
American Airlines begins daily service from JFK to Rio de Janeiro (GIG), using 219-seat Boeing 767-300 airplane in two class seating configuration with 28 Business Class and 191 Economy Class seats.

American airlines also announced that passengers on its daily nonstop flights between New York JFK and Rio de Janeiro can earn triple AAdvantage miles for travel in Business Class or double miles for travel in Economy Class.
