JetBlue Airways launched daily summer service from Long Beach Airport (LGB) to Anchorage, Alaska, Flights will depart Long Beach at 7:35 pm and arrive in Anchorage's Ted Stevens International Airport (ANC) at 11:54 pm. Return flights will depart ANC at 1:10 am and arrive at LGB at 7:37 am. The Airline will employ it's Airbus A320 aircraft for this service.
Flights are on sale now one way tickets for as little as $119 at www.jetblue.com for travel starting May 26, 2011. JetBlue will be the only airline to serve Anchorage from Long Beach, where it will also offer travelers a host of convenient connections to cities across the United States.
This addition brings LGB to 18 direct destinations and represents the 13th nonstop from JetBlue. The airline currently offers service to prime locations throughout the United States. Long Beach passengers have access to key cities including New York, NY; Boston, MA; Las Vegas, NV; Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; San Francisco,CA; and Washington DC. Additionally, passengers departing LGB may reach prime international destinations like the Bahamas and Puerto Rico via a connection through New York, NY.
