United Airlines San Francisco Taipei nonstop flights

United Airlines continues to strengthen its international network and meet customer demand for more service to Asia with daily nonstop flights between San Francisco and Taipei. United is the only U.S. carrier to offer nonstop service between the U.S. and Taipei.

Sample fare between sfo and tpe is $710 each way, based on required roundtrip purchase.* Travel dates vary by destination.

"We are pleased to offer our customers direct access to an important economic and cultural center by establishing a nonstop link between the Bay Area, Silicon Valley and Taipei," said Kevin Knight, United's senior vice president-Planning.

The SFO TPE route expands United's breadth of service to Asia and strengthens the company’s San Francisco hub as an international gateway to the Pacific.

United Flight UA 871 will depart SFO International Airport at 12:41 p.m. Thursday and land in Taipei Taoyuan International Airport at 5:10 p.m. Friday, local time. Beginning June 8, United Flight UA 872 will depart Taipei at 12:10 p.m. and arrive in San Francisco at 8:24 a.m. the same day.

United operate San Francisco-Taipei service using a B777 aircraft configured with 10 United First class seats, 45 United Business class seats and 198 United Economy® seats, including 84 Economy Plus seats that offer up to five more inches of legroom. With the B777 aircraft, United has the capability to carry about 20 tons of cargo per flight between the United States and Taiwan.

Brussels to Chicago ohare direct flights united airlines

United inaugurated direct flights between Chicago and Brussels on March 28. This new route enables easy connections to points in Europe and Africa via Brussels Airlines, which joined the Star Alliance on December 9, 2009. The Chicago-Brussels flights are timed to offer convenient connections at Chicago O’Hare to and from dozens of cities in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Chicago-Brussels flights are now available for booking and are operated on Boeing 767 aircraft according to the following schedule

Panama to lax cheap flights Copa Airlines

Copa Airlines has started a second daily nonstop flight from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to the airline's Hub of the Americas in Panama, which will increase connection options to Central, South America and the Caribbean.

Copa Airlines' new flight CM 473 will depart LAX at 9:28 a.m. Pacific Time, arriving in Panama city at 5:58 p.m. The return flight CM 472 will depart Panama at 12:20 p.m. local time, arriving in Los Angeles at 5:10 p.m.

The PTY LAX flight operated with a Boeing 737-800 "Next Generation" aircraft, which seats 16 passengers in business class and 144 in the main cabin. The comfortable, state-of-the-art aircraft has a spacious interior, large overhead compartments and a 12-channel audio-visual entertainment system in English, Spanish and Portuguese, with new movies monthly and complimentary headsets. All Copa flights include complimentary meals, beverages, wines and spirits. Flight attendants are bilingual or trilingual.

The new flight complements Copa's original daily nonstop service, which departs Los Angeles at 2 a.m. and arrives in Panama at 10:30 a.m.

Florida to El Salvador direct flights

TACA Airlines fly to Orlando, Florida, serviced three times per week towards and from its hub in El Salvador. This flight becomes the ninth gateway to the United States and an opportunity for Florida passengers to access TACA’s route network throughout Latin America.

This flight is part of a larger effort from the airline to meet its clients’ needs totaling 41 destinations in 22 countries. This will also provide a destination with great tourism appeal and interesting commercial perspective.

TACA launches new Miami Lima flights

TACA Airlines officially launches new direct flight from Miami to the City of Lima and connections, at a cocktail at the Intercontinental Hotel Doral in Miami. The event included Central and South American diplomatic authorities, travel agency representatives, corporate accounts, and members of the press.

The Miami to Lima flight TA 031 departs at 3:05 PM arriving in Lima at 11:00 PM, and the Lima to Miami flight TA 032 departs at 10:30 AM arriving in Miami at 4:25 PM.

Evelyn de la Vega, Sales Manager at TACA Airlines, said that “as part of TACA Airlines growth plans for this year, the airline announced its new direct flight towards the city of Lima, starting operations December 1st. Avianca has a new route between Bogota and San Salvador and upcoming destinations to North America

Avianca offer a direct flight between Bogota and San Salvador, which will not only provides access to that market but will also allow it to use the hub operated by TACA in El Salvador, to reach destinations to which Avianca does not fly directly. Among the U.S. destinations that will be accessible are San Francisco, Houston and Orlando, as well as Toronto in Canada and Cancun in Mexico.
