United Airlines San Francisco Taipei nonstop flights

United Airlines continues to strengthen its international network and meet customer demand for more service to Asia with daily nonstop flights between San Francisco and Taipei. United is the only U.S. carrier to offer nonstop service between the U.S. and Taipei.

Sample fare between sfo and tpe is $710 each way, based on required roundtrip purchase.* Travel dates vary by destination.

"We are pleased to offer our customers direct access to an important economic and cultural center by establishing a nonstop link between the Bay Area, Silicon Valley and Taipei," said Kevin Knight, United's senior vice president-Planning.

The SFO TPE route expands United's breadth of service to Asia and strengthens the company’s San Francisco hub as an international gateway to the Pacific.

United Flight UA 871 will depart SFO International Airport at 12:41 p.m. Thursday and land in Taipei Taoyuan International Airport at 5:10 p.m. Friday, local time. Beginning June 8, United Flight UA 872 will depart Taipei at 12:10 p.m. and arrive in San Francisco at 8:24 a.m. the same day.

United operate San Francisco-Taipei service using a B777 aircraft configured with 10 United First class seats, 45 United Business class seats and 198 United Economy® seats, including 84 Economy Plus seats that offer up to five more inches of legroom. With the B777 aircraft, United has the capability to carry about 20 tons of cargo per flight between the United States and Taiwan.
